  1. I actually had to do a presentation on this the other day about gender gap and discrimination. i think it is wrong to base gender on having health insurance. Just because women tend to care for their bodies more than men shouldn't be a reason to increase price to women because of the use for healthcare services. hopefully the new federal law in 2014 the Affordable Care Act will stop this discrimination against gender.

  2. It is very unfortunate that health insurance is priced and based off of gender. Men and women should be allowed equally equivalent health insurance in the United States. It is sad that some health insurances do not even cover a Caesarian child birth, because many of times a woman cannot control the decision making process of this event. Every individual should be offered and provided with health insurance that is equally attainable. It is not fair or just that women pay more and have less coverage of health insurance. Our society needs to join together and try to come up with solutions in order to ban/stop sex discrimination in health care/plan costs and provide equal opportunities to each and every individual.

  3. Equality of gender should be considered when it comes to health insurances just like it is now with voting, jobs, etc. What can we do to promote this equality to make it reasonable and fair without discrimination? Women were not made into women on purpose, it is just what happens therefore it should not be unfair.
